    Our client is an international brand implementation agency that brings global household brands to life in any environment anywhere in the world. They work with some of the world’s largest companies, turning concepts into reality, making sure everything is managed, produced and installed to consistently high standards every time. They’re looking to add a Retail Interior Designer to their ever busy design team for a 12 month maternity cover.



    Interior Designer

    The role;

    This role will provide exposure to prestigious clients and provide a varied and interesting challenge for someone who enjoys being busy and putting their own ideas forward. Brand implementation and corporate identity roll out is a complicated job, they work with businesses to ensure their brand is delivered consistently by expertly providing consultancy, audit and project management, fit-out, signs and wayfinding, graphics, interiors, financing and regular maintenance.

    Interior Designer

    Core responsibilities;

    • Provide guidance and support Retailer facility design and build.
    • Co-ordinate the Design Clinic Governance Process on behalf of the client, arranging meeting times, preparing site plans and meeting packs and reporting weekly, owning the progress of follow up actions and responses.
    • Play a supporting role to the creative direction of the client’s existing and new initiatives.
    • Undertake ad hoc design requests.
    • Contribute with new design ideas.
    • Retail site planning and furniture concept ideas.
    • Support with space planning/interior design/architectural design proposals and reviews.
    • Write briefs for external suppliers.
    • Ad hoc travel requirements both nationally and internationally.


    Interior Designer

    Required Skills:


    Essential –

    • Three to five years’ experience within interior design or similar role.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Proven track record of programme management and objective delivery.
    • Knowledge of architectural standards.
    • Fully proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
    • Fully proficient in InDesign.
    • Excellent organisational skills, focused, and the ability to multi task and meet deadlines in an ever changing, fast paced environment.
    • Ability to present and interpret management information.
    • Excellent presentation skills.
    • Fully proficient in Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Outlook

    Desirable –

    • Proficient in Solidworks.
    • Experience of working in automotive sector is an advantage.
