Our client is a successful Manufacturing / Engineering business with a global presence with head offices based in Bradford. They are one of the world’s leading developers and manufacturers of quality products for the oil and gas, petrochemical, aerospace and defence, utilities, pharmaceuticals and chemical industries.
 
Their UK manufacturing and distribution network is coordinated from their head office in Bradford, West Yorkshire with an additional six regional manufacturing facilities across the UK including Aberdeen, Grangemouth, Middlesbrough, Runcorn, Southampton and Immingham.
 
They have a need for a Marketing function to support their growth and are looking a Marketing Assistant / Executive with fresh and exciting ideas to the marketing team.
 
Marketing Executive
Job Purpose:
 
They're looking for a self-motivated, creative, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for all things marketing. If you're interested in digital marketing campaigns, building a social media following, and have a desire to drive results, they want you in their team. 
 
Marketing Assistant     
Responsibilities;
 
•      Support, analyse, and optimise all communication channels – online and offline
•      Drive search engine optimisation
•      New product launch planning 
•      Continuous optimisation of their company website via content and blog posts
•      Assist with the development of a new website as an ongoing project
•      Creation of marketing material including graphic and content design of presentations, print types, and templates
•      Social media with a focus on LinkedIn
•      Assist with the organisation of local exhibitions, open days, and lunch and learn sessions
•      Active cooperation with the Holding Group in Austria, sister companies, and other departments
•      Coordination of external suppliers like agencies and software providers
•      Manage stock of promotional gifts and brochures
 
Junior Marketing 
Required Skills:
 
You will have some of the following:
 
Essential:
•      1-2 years’ experience within a marketing role 
•      Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO)
•      Experience in creating marketing material
•      Experience in B2B marketing and digital marketing tools
•      Enthusiastic with a hands-on approach
 
Ideal but not essential requirements:
•      Content marketing and social media 
•      Experience with email marketing 
•      Experience in organizing exhibitions & events 
•      Qualification in Marketing and / or Communications (preferable but not essential)
