Our client is an international multi-website, online ecommerce retail company with a product range that spans interiors, bathrooms, heating, lighting and more. They are expanding quickly and urgently require a Studio Assistant to help drive their media forward.
Photography Set
Job Purpose:
The key purpose of the role is to provide support to the Media Centre to enable the smooth running of all day-to-day operational activity. As such, the duties and demands of the post will be varied.
The post holder will take a lead role in ensuring the preparation of all products and photography sets, as well as arranging and facilitating the movements of stock between the Warehouse and Studio.

Responsibilities;
• To prepare all products and sets for photography, ensuring the seamless and smooth running of all media centre activity.
• Picking of stock from the warehouse for shoots and returning back to the warehouse after completion. Ensuring accuracy of stock location by following correct procedures, handling stock in the correct way to mitigates damages and moving and handling techniques are compliant with health & safety requirements.
• To have a good knowledge and awareness of the relevant health and safety law and implement those requirements correctly, to all assigned tasks, ensuring the safe running of the Studio.
• To ensure the Studios are kept in a safe, tidy and organised manner at all times, enabling Studio activity to be completed in the most efficient way.
• To undertake painting and decorating, joinery, plumbing and product assembly as required to provide a workable solution to any issues which may arise.
• To work closely with all members of the Media Centre to ensure the efficient and smooth running of Media Centre activity, providing support and assistance with any tasks required which are commensurate with the salary for the post.
Photography Studio
Required Skills:
• An understanding of Health & Safety Law.
• An understanding of Data Protection Law.
• Experience of painting and decorating, joinery and product assembly.
• Experience in photography studio.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across all methods of communication.
• High quality written ability to produce information in a clear and concise format.
• Highly organised and efficient.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A high level of practical skills in painting and decorating, joinery and product assembly.
• The ability to work quickly, accurately and safely on a variety of tasks.
• Able to assess everyday situations/issues and provide effective, workable solutions.
• Highly organised and efficient working style, with a good eye for detail
• The ability to work carefully and consistently under own initiative and as part of a team.
• Manual handling – ability to manage the safe movement of stock items and equipment within the studio and warehouse areas
• Ability to take direction and accurately follow instructions
