Our client is an international multi-website, online ecommerce retail company with a product range that spans interiors, bathrooms, heating, lighting and more. They are expanding quickly and urgently require a Photographer to help drive their media forward.
 
Photographer
Job Purpose:
 
This role will be responsible for the creation of high-quality photography content, contributing for the delivery of a visually appealing online shopping experience for customers across a variety of channels. This will include contributing to the design, construction and decoration of photography sets whilst adhering to company health and safety policies.
 
Product Photography
Responsibilities;
 
 
•      Be responsible for the creation of high quality Lifestyle photography content which is on brand and created to specification as per the design brief.
 
•      Coordinate with the Stock Control team for the movement of stock between the media centre and the warehouse once you have received the design briefs for that periods and then again once production has been completed.
 
•      Provide creative support in the designing, construction, and decoration of lifestyle photography sets in line with the agreed design briefs.
 
•      Consult with the Visual Merchandising team and the Marketing department on the agreed content required for all social media and website channels.
 
•      Ensure that dynamic risk assessments are conducted when any products, equipment, sets etc. are being moved or used and that a Point of Work Risk Assessment (POWRA) is completed to review update and assess the ongoing dynamic risk assessments as products, equipment, sets etc. are being moved or used.
 
•      Ensure that all equipment has a pre-use inspection completed before use and where issues are highlighted, these are escalated to the Media Manager immediately. 
 
•      Adhere to all health and safety regulations as set out by the Health and Safety Manager and Media Manager.
 
•      To take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are commensurate with the salary of the post and are within the employee's range of skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed.  
 
Lifestyle Photography
Required Skills:
 
•      Knowledge of Capture One software.
•      Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop software.
•      Knowledge of Macs & PC’s
•      Knowledge of Lighting (Elinchrom) and Canon Digital Cameras    
•      4yrs+ experience within a commercial photographic studio.
•      Experience of designing, constructing and decorating lifestyle photography/videography sets.
•      Exceptional attention to detail. 
•      Strong organisational and planning skills 
•      Ability to engage with senior stakeholders 
•      High standard of accuracy and precision in accordance with design briefs 
•      Ability to quickly assess situations and provide effective solutions. 
•      Excellent interpersonal skills across all methods of communication. 
•      Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
•      Ability to prioritise own and the media centre teams workload 
•      Ability to design, construct, and decorate photography sets in accordance with design briefs
