Design and Production Manager – Merchandise

Our client is the online home of an internationally acclaimed British Rock Band’s successful official merchandise. Formed in 2014 as a new venture where they could take back creative control of their merchandise, all their products are designed to their specification to ensure the best quality and design possible.
Based in their hometown of Sheffield, UK and cared for by a small team, who work extremely hard to ensure the best experience for their customers, they are looking for a Design and Production Manager to join the team ASAP.
Design Manager
Purpose;
Your main role will be to run and oversee all aspects of Design and Production within the team.
Production Manager
Core Responsibilities;
Working closely with the band to design official merchandise, this includes:
— Conceptual development of merchandise
— Production markups and artworking for tech packs provided to suppliers
— Management of suppliers from concept – sample – final production stages
— Working with Content Manager to direct photoshoots and brand imagery
— Creation of e-comm flats and online assets
— Retouching of social imagery for launch
Design and Production Manager
Required Skills:
— Experience as a Designer / Creative in the Apparel / Merchandise Industry.
— In-depth understanding of design principles within the apparel and screen-printing industries
— Must be a strong communicator to work within a small, driven team
— Management and ability to work well with other creatives
— Exceptional eye for aesthetics and details
— Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently on projects
— Motivated and Self-directed
— Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
— Strong knowledge of Apparel / Print Industry
