Our client is a long-established financial credit services company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. They provide technology driven credit management solutions that maximise customer engagement, with years of industry experience and a full suite of compliant end-to-end services.
 
As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for a Senior PHP Full Stack developer to join their development team to be based in their Halifax office for a minimum of 3 days a week.
 
PHP Developer
Purpose:
 
As a full stack developer you will play a key role in the development of the company’s technical solutions for their clients across multiple sectors (Buy now pay later, Utilities, Insurance). You will be responsible for finding and implementing technical solutions in an open source environment (PHP/Laravel).
 
Full Stack Web Developer
Responsibilities;
 
You'll be working alongside other developers on technical projects incorporating new technologies. The role provides development opportunities and presents numerous new and ongoing development projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
 
•      Working within the Development team and working closely with other departments within the business to specify, develop and deploy bespoke web applications
•      Maintaining and improving existing platforms and web applications
•      Working with the team and managing your schedules to help them deliver exceptional websites and projects on time
 
Senior Web Developer
Required Skills:
 
●      Excellent skills in object-oriented PHP development
●      Capabilities in current front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, modern JavaScript frameworks)
●      Accurate and responsible work
●      Experience with the use of versioning systems (GIT)
●      Interpersonal skills and communication, positive attitude and team orientation 
 
Also an advantage
 
●      Design tool & UX understandings (Figma)
●      CI/CD deployment & pipeline experience
