Senior Creative Allrounder
Our Ideal Candidate;
 
As a Creative Graphic Designer, you will be joining an international creative team working remotely with colleagues across the world. With some experience under your belt, this varied role will offer you a wealth of opportunity to work on bringing some amazing scientific products to life on digital and print platforms. 
 
Senior Graphic Designer / Artworker
Core responsibilities;
 
Their role will be 30% creative and 70% Artworking consisting of digital asset creation, print design and artwork. You will be taking existing content and resizing/repurposing as well as taking internal team edits. 
 
You will be working either remotely or on a hybrid basis, starting as a long term remote contractor, you will be an integral member of their busy creative team. Your main responsibilities will be:
 
Print design (flyers, advertising, leaflets, mailers, magazines)
Digital media (websites, email templates, banners, headers.)
Photo editing
Support your creative colleagues and producer with various collateral. 
Perform technical aspects ready for print / web including typography and artwork.
Understand creative vision of the department and take direction from senior members of the team.
Ensuring all projects are executed within timelines and schedules.
 
Midweight Digital Designer
Required Skills:
 
You will need have some form of Tech Industry experience / background – you’ll be creating for products that are related to high precision, healthcare, instrumentation, data and science so a background to creating for something similar is required. You will also need:
 
Commercial portfolio
Adobe Creative Cloud experience (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
Photo editing and artworking knowledge
Good eye for detail
Ability to multitask and take direction
Confidence in presenting your own ideas
Good communication skills
Well organised
Experience working with remote teams on projects is desirable but not mandatory.
An interest in science and technology is a bonus.

This role is a remote / hybrid position that is initially a long term contract with a view to going permanent. Their head offices are based in Macclesfield, Cheshire so you may need to be able to commute here on an ad hoc basis.
