Our client is an international multi-website, online ecommerce retail company with a product range that spans interiors, bathrooms, heating, lighting and more. They are expanding quickly and urgently require a Photographer & Media Manager to help drive their media forward.
 
Photographer
Job Purpose:
 
As the Photography & Media Manager, you will coordinate a team of a photographer and Digital Editor / videographers, to deliver a visually appealing online shopping experience for customers across a variety of international websites.  This will be done by ensuring website & Social imagery and Video content meets the defined Brand Standards.
 
Media Manager
Responsibilities;
 
•      Planning, managing and overseeing the media centre to ensure constant high-quality digital output is delivered to meet the needs of the business.
•      Implement processes that ensure department work is executed right first time.
•      Assisting in the movement of stock between studio and warehouse by liaising with the Stock Control team.
•      Responsible for creating still cut out and Lifestyle photography production.
•      Plumbing and set construction/decoration knowledge, as well as the ability to manage heavy items in and around the studio.
•      Responsible for designing and creating production sets for Lifestyle photography.
•      Working with Social Media teams to ensure that images and contents are created for the proposed channels.
•      Working with the wider team to ensure that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
•      General studio and equipment maintenance.  
 
Photography Manager
Required Skills:
 
•      Knowledge of Capture One software.
•      Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop software.
•      Knowledge of Macs & PC’s.
•      Knowledge of Lighting (Elinchrom) and Canon Digital Cameras.
•      4yrs+ experience within a commercial photographic studio.
•      Previous experience of management or team-leader position.
•      Exceptional attention to detail.
•      Strong Organisational and Prioritisation Skills.
•      Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
•      Ability to quickly assess situations and provide effective solutions.
•      Excellent interpersonal skills across all methods of communication.
•      You show respect and fairness when communicating, taking into account the feelings of others.
•      A positive ‘Can do’ attitude towards all aspects of the role.
•      Ability to think critically and strategically.
