We’re looking for a commercially minded Midweight–Senior Creative Designer who can take a brief, interrogate it, shape it, and turn it into strong, strategic creative.
This is not a “just execute the artwork” role.
This is about elevating an established studio, bringing clarity to briefs, and helping translate business objectives into impactful design across digital and print.
Our client is a long-standing, respected creative agency with a diverse portfolio across branding, campaigns, property, and digital. With continued growth, they're now seeking someone who can confidently bridge the space between concept, communication, and delivery — reducing the need for the senior team to interpret briefs and guiding projects with autonomy.
The role:
As a key member of a small, fast-paced studio, you will:
• Take creative ownership — interpreting briefs, asking the right questions, and proposing routes and rationale.
• Work closely with the Head of Creative, Marketing Manager, and account teams to deliver design with commercial purpose.
• Transform strategic ideas into polished creative across branding, campaigns, brochures, digital assets, social content, and presentation decks.
• Bring conceptual thinking that strengthens pitches, proposals, and client-facing work.
• Confidently juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and formats with accuracy and pace.
• Maintain brand consistency across multiple client accounts.
• Contribute to creative discussions, offering insight on layout, hierarchy, and visual approach.
• Support junior creatives through feedback and direction when required.
What We’re Looking For:
• 4+ years in a design studio or creative agency environment
• Strong commercial understanding — you get why a brief exists and how design influences outcomes
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Confidence working end-to-end from concept to final artwork
• Ability to challenge, refine, and clarify a brief
• Strong typographic and layout skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding
• A portfolio that shows thinking, not just execution
• Comfortable presenting ideas internally and articulating design choices
• Experience designing for cross-channel campaigns: print, digital, social, pitch materials, collateral
Bonus Points For:
• Experience in property sector design (not essential but beneficial)
• Motion skills (After Effects or similar)
• Artwork for large-format, signage, or exhibition materials
• Web/social UI experience
• An interest in mentoring junior designers
What’s In It for You
• Salary £30,000–£40,000 DOE
• Secure, well-established agency with long-term clients
• Hands-on creative variety across multiple brands and sectors
• Friendly, collaborative studio environment
• Real influence in shaping creative processes
• Genuine progression opportunities as the agency grows
• Team events, socials, and a supportive culture
