A graphic design role where your work actually makes it onto shelves.

Our client is a well-established, globally recognised gifting and lifestyle business, creating eye-catching products for major retailers worldwide. Design sits at the heart of everything they do — from packaging and branding through to product visuals and point-of-sale.

They’re now looking for a Graphic Designer to join their in-house studio in Rotherham. This role is ideal for someone who loves packaging, layout, typography and visual storytelling, and wants to see their designs progress from concept through to finished, physical products.

This is very much a graphic design-led role, with the opportunity to apply those skills across gifting and lifestyle products.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative in-house creative team, you’ll be responsible for producing strong, commercially focused graphic design across multiple product ranges.

You’ll be involved in:

• Designing packaging, product graphics, artwork and visual assets

• Creating concepts, layouts and final print-ready artwork

• Producing visuals for gift products, retail packaging and POS

• Supporting product managers with clear, engaging design solutions

• Preparing artwork for print and production

• Creating presentation visuals and mock-ups for internal sign-off

• Liaising with overseas production teams to ensure designs translate accurately into finished products

You’ll see your work move quickly from screen to shelf — and have genuine ownership over the creative output.

What We’re Looking For

• This role will suit a Graphic Designer first and foremost.

Key requirements:

• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

• A portfolio showing solid graphic design fundamentals — layout, typography, colour and concept

• Experience designing for print and packaging (or strong print-based design experience)

• A commercial mindset — understanding how design works in a retail environment

• Good attention to detail and confidence preparing artwork for production

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Nice to have (but not essential):

• Experience within gifting, lifestyle, greetings or consumer products

• Exposure to 3D visuals or mock-ups (training available)

• An interest in seeing design through from concept to finished product

What’s in It for You

• Salary £28,000–£36,000 depending on experience

• A creative, friendly in-house studio environment

• Large, characterful studio space with vaulted ceilings

• Design-led business with real variety of projects

• Strong support and development opportunities

• Regular team socials and a down-to-earth culture

This is an onsite role — the team works together in the studio full-time, and collaboration is a big part of what makes the environment work so well.
