Our client is an international multi-website, online ecommerce retail company with a product range that spans interiors, bathrooms, heating, lighting and more. They are expanding quickly and urgently require a Digital Editor & Videographer to help drive their media forward.
Digital Editor
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to ensure that all images are managed through the post-production stage to a high standard, meeting company Brand Standards prior to being upload to the company’s numerous websites. Another key aspect to this roll is the creation and post-production of video contents for their websites as well as their social media channels.
Videographer
Responsibilities;
• To work closely with the Product Managers , Photographers and other departments within the business on all aspects of the images and video editing.
• Preparing all photographic images prior to being uploaded to all sites.
• Creating and editing all videos content prior to being uploaded to all sites.
• Designing and creating production sets for video content.
• Work with the Marketing & Social Media team to discuss additional ways of utilising photography & video across all channels.
• General media centre tasks, including lifting and assembling sets and product for photo shoots.
Videography and Editing
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of video production and editing experience (Premier Pro).
• Knowledge of Macs & PC’s.
• Knowledge of Lighting (Elinchrom) and Canon Digital Cameras.
• Experience within a Digital Editing Role.
• Experience within a Videographer Role.
• Experience of working in E-Commerce.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to properly prioritise and effectively manage own time.
• The ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• A proactive approach to all tasks.
• You show respect, fairness and empathy when communicating, taking into account the feelings of others.
• A committed and effective team player with a clear customer focus.
• Resilient & calm when under pressure and able to balance conflicting priorities and manage their time well.
