There are many ways to secure new clients for a business: networking, creating a great website, reaching out to local communities. Another way you may have overlooked is building your own brand. If that’s the case, this Thursday seminar may be just what you’re looking for.
This event is aimed at business leaders and is hosted by Kate Betts, former BBC journalist turned director of Capital B Media. It’ll show you how to gain recognition from your peers and the media, and how that recognition can translate into greater business success.
If this sounds like a useful strategy for you and your business, the event runs from 10am to 12pm. It takes place at the New Mills Event Space.
Attracting Attention Being Sociable
We close the week with this session from social media consultant Mark Longbottom. Today, people in all industries want themselves and their work to be noticed. Mark’s session shows how people’s attention can benefit you and your business, as well as how to best use Instagram hashtags, craft compelling CTAs, and even develop creative thinking.
If you think this session would be useful to you and your business, head down to Entrepreneurial Spark on Park Cross Street at 2pm.
Don’t forget there are many other events going on at Leeds Business Week, and many more events hosted this month by the Yorkshire Mafia.
