Our Ideal candidate;
You must be a pro-active, enthusiastic and personable team player. You will have a can-do attitude and be happy wading through copy amends as well as adding to a designers brief in order to roll it out across any media.
They are looking for a ‘right first time’ attitude and want someone who is prepared to get stuck in to the creative input of the design team. Must be a good communicator.
Middleweight to Senior
You will be responsible for producing high quality creative artwork for a wide range of retail clients throughout the UK. Integrating with the design team and offering creative input when required your role will include both creating print ready artwork for brochures, leaflets, posters, large format graphics, digital, signage and more!
Liaising with design and marketing colleagues on a daily basis, you will play a core part of the team helping to provide quality control and attention to detail to all work passing through the agency.
Creative and Technical
At least 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced design/artwork studio, they are Mac based and always busy.
Need to be highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential. They have good equipment and the latest software.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office on a Mac and not afraid to dive into an occasional big Word document or PowerPoint presentation (their work is predominantly in Creative Cloud software).
Fully aware of time constraints with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
Able to produce high quality artwork for a wide range of retail clients throughout the UK and abroad. Experience of artworking for the retail sector would be beneficial (please note, this is not a packaging role).
You must have the technical skills required to create print ready artwork and the ability to find solutions when needed. Experienced in setting up digital files for websites and social media is an added bonus – they have in-house developers and work closely with them to deliver a large number of retail centered websites.
Any extra skills such as illustration, animation, or video editing would be called on occasionally if you have them.
