    Our client is an award winning, market leader in the Signage / Graphics industry. They are a large Leeds based company with a varied blue chip customer base that encompasses sectors including retail, banking, automotive, licensed trade and more.     They are growing from strength to strength and are looking for a Bill of Materials Administrator / Planner to come on board to work on a variety of new and ongoing projects.

     

    Planner

    Job Summary;

     

    Determine requirements of the signage from the Contracts team and translate this on to the M1 ERP system, reflecting accurately the correct processes and materials required to manufacture the sign. Efficiently implement a bill of materials on to M1 using the most cost effective methods.

     

    Administrator

    Core responsibilities;

     

    • Liaise with the contracts team to determine the customer requirement for the signage.
    • Liaise with the production management and the shop floor to determine the most up to date and efficient processes and materials to be utilised for the manufacture of the signage in the most cost effective way.
    • Work closely with the Production management team developing the M1 ERP system effectively into production.
    • Liaise with purchasing to ensure the sign uses the most cost effective materials and suppliers to manufacture the signs.
    • Create the bill of materials on M1 ERP system reflecting an accurate predicted time for each operation and correct quantity of materials.
    • Develop effective stock material utilisation.
    • Monitor any deviation to the implemented bill of materials.
    • Reflect any changes that occur during production.
    • Report any cost efficiencies that can be achieved.
