    It’s competition time!

    Did you know January is International Creativity Month?

    Traditionally we celebrate the month by sharing creative ideas and innovations.

    At Gloss Recruitment we’re all about creativity and creative jobs. That’s why, in order to pay homage to this fantastic month, we’re launching an exciting new competition!

    How to enter 

    1.Design an email newsletter header image for Gloss’ next newsletter! Gloss wants to represent the new wave of creativity as we’ve seen how creativity in Leeds is evolving. We’d love to see your vision of what lies ahead for creativity. The concept is completely up to you, as long as it’s connected to how creativity is evolving. To get you started we’ve got some past examples and size guidelines in our “competition spec”.

    2.Share your design on Facebook or Twitter and simply tag us in with the hashtags #CreativityMonth and #GlossEvolvingCreativity

    We’ve provided some examples of past Gloss emails. Please note we use a predetermined template so there’s no need to recreate the red logo strip with the social media buttons. However, we sometimes do use the logo in our newsletter images, so feel free to do the same if that matches your creative idea. We have two sizes that we switch between, and it’s up to you which size matches your vision best. Please choose between:

    The prize in full

    1.Getting your design in front of decision makers of Leeds

    The winner’s design will be featured in our Gloss “Creativity is Evolving” newsletter which goes out to hundreds of Yorkshire and Leeds creative marketing agencies.

    We’ll also feature the winner on the Gloss blog with a mini profile. Two runners up will also have the option to be featured on the Gloss blog.

    2. A fantastic £100 Amazon voucher 

    The winner will also receive an Amazon voucher worth £100!

    Terms & Conditions for Gloss Evolving Creativity Competition: 

    1. The promoter is: Gloss Creative Recruitment (company no. OC411418) whose registered office is at 2 Wellington Place, LS1 4AP in Leeds.
    2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Gloss Recruitment plus anyone otherwise connected with the judging of the competition.
    3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
    4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    5. There are two possible routes to enter the competition. 1. By posting your design on Facebook or Twitter and tagging Gloss Recruitment, 2. By sending your design by email to “enquiries @” using the subject line: “Creativity is Evolving Competition”.
    6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
    7. Closing date for entry will be midnight February 21st.
    8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
    9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual/ anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
    11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
    12. The prize is as follows: £100 Amazon gift voucher, and the winning design being featured in the Gloss newsletter – fully credited- that goes out to all of Gloss’ marketing agency subscribers. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
    13. Winners will be chosen via a shortlist of the entries created by the judging panel and Gloss Creative Recruitment.
    14. The winner will be notified via social media channel, email or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
    15. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
    16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    17. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    18. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
    19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
