UI / UX Designer

They are enthusiastic about new ideas and technologies and open-minded so are looking for someone who can give input to help them improve as well as play a large part in the direction they are heading.
A hands-on role where you will be expected to add real value from experience, insight, and leadership by example. You will be working closely with the Head of Department and other stakeholders to contribute to the continuous improvement of the development function.
Your day-to-day role will involve gathering user requirements and iterating over wireframes and user interface designs to create a rich user interface for their modern web apps. With their agile scrumban methodology there is also the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software lifecycle.
They have several new and exciting projects that you will be contributing to, using the latest web technologies and frameworks so there is a real opportunity to build on and expand your skillsets.
- Experience with responsive design (across mobile, tablet and PC).
- Experience with wireframing and UI prototyping.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent with Adobe products and common design tools.
Desirable skills (or happy to learn):
- Hands-on experience creating designs with HTML, CSS.
- Skilled in user research to help proactively improve design.
- Understanding of usability test metrics to help analyse how a design performs.
