Description:
My client provides engineering services for new facilities and revamps including conceptual design studies, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). In addition, they also provide maintenance and turnaround management and is committed to high quality services incorporating the highest standards of safety, environmental protection and performance.

Job Profile:

To provide staff in support of growth targets. Likely to support FEED and EPC projects of the following types; Power, Underground Gas Storage, Gas Processing Plants and Nuclear.

Project Summary:

Specification, evaluation and management of multi-discipline packages such as fired heaters, waste heat recovery, dehydration, heating medium, refrigeration, water treatment, flare.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Description of Duties:
• Use technical writing skills and experience to support the delivery of project related documents i.e. specifications, data sheets, bid tabulations, material requisitions.
• Carry out the design and specification of Packaged Equipment
• Act as company Technical Authority in area of expertise and/or project Lead Engineer
• Preferably also capable and willing to carry out Pressure Vessel/Heat Exchanger work



Requirements:
General skills/experience as below, increasing in depth and breadth the more senior the level.


Qualifications

Degree qualified or equivalent. Ideally Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent experience. Around 20years experience in Power, Nuclear or Oil and Gas sector including 5 - 10 years in lead engineer role
Specific experience in the following technical areas would be beneficial:
• Equipment Packages experience - application of industry standards and project specifications to Supplier designed packages.
• Power systems including steam systems,
• Cryogenic gas processing
• Dehydration packages
• Nuclear waste processing
