This company is a successful web design, online marketing, entertainment and e-CRM agency. Their clients include some of the biggest retail, entertainment and financial institutes in the country. They have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic PHP Developer to work on a number of projects on their impressive client list.
They are looking for a web developer with experience of LAMP based web development, to build w3c standards compliant web applications for their clients. You will work within a team of PHP developers, Asp.net developers, actionscript developers, HTML coders and graphic designers.

Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities would be leading and working as part of team of developers developing PHP LAMP sites. Within an informal, sociable, dynamic environment this is your opportunity to blossom and shine. They have a very diverse team with skills in all technical skills including PHP, .NET, Java, Actionscript etc which offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the company.
Some of the main duties for this role are:
• Development of PHP/MySql code to specification
• Working within the full team of developers and designers through the full project lifecycle
• Building search engine friendly, secure and accessible websites
• Ensuring source code is committed and maintained in the central Subversion repositories.
• Testing of websites to ensure they meet specification when required.
Essential Skills Required:
• Good PHP/MySql developments skills.
• Server administration experience on Linux distributions
• Experience with one or more open source CMS system e.g. Drupal or Joomla.
• Object Orientated development and design experience
• MySql development and Relational Database Design
• Understanding of structural html, CSS and unobtrusive javascript
Additional Skills:
• Knowledge of javascript and javascript frameworks e.g. jQuery or prototype.
• Experience of a wide range of open source frameworks / libraries e.g. Symfony, Zend, or Cake.
• Expertise with other languages or platform e.g. Java, Ruby or Asp.net.
• Experience with open source e-commerce platforms e.g. Magento, OS Commerce.
