My client is a successful, fast growing digital agency looking to recruit an enthusiastic SEO / Search Marketing Executive to join their Marketing team.

The Role
Working within the search marketing team your primary responsibilities will be to promote websites using both organic and paid for listings. This will include:
• Keyword Targeted Content Generation - You will be required to write short articles based on a set of pre-selected keywords that have been agreed with their client. As part of this process you will undertake basic research to understand the subject matter and come up with ideas for new content.
• Delivering Measurable SEO Results - your existing SEO knowledge will allow you to understand strengths / weaknesses of a website and assess what proven search marketing techniques and strategies will enctheirage better rankings for the client. You will possess a sound understanding of Social Media, Local Search, Email Marketing and Google Products and Services, with an awareness of how they can be used effectively with SEO as part of a long-term strategy.
• Paid Search -You will undertake competitor and keyword research to help plan the campaign, set the campaign up and then manage and fine tune to deliver the maximum return on investment.
• Client Contact - You will be adept at dealing with clients at various levels and have a polite, professional approach to client interaction.
• Marketing Support - Being a team player is essential. You should be comfortable working to deadlines, have good computer skills and be proficient in various aspects of the web.
• Quality - Their whole philosophy is based on delivering their clients a sound return on investment and this is only achieved through excellence. You must be committed to rolling your sleeves up and putting real energy into every project.
• Opportunity – they are a digital agency, so just about all their projects are for the web. This provides a tremendous opportunity to learn by sharing expertise with other members of the team and building on your existing digital knowledge. This is a hands-on role which requires your own initiative and SEO knowledge to further enhance your training.
• Experience - 2 year's experience within a similar role is preferable, however all applicants with a demonstrable knowledge of SEO will be considered. An awareness of current SEO trends / insights and topical SEO tools is essential.
• Transport – they are based in Harrogate so a car and driving license isn't essential but would be useful.
