Description:
This role is based in the new media department of a major international e-commerce company that is responsible for the development, marketing and maintenance of their UK (own brand and 3rd party) websites. A vacancy has become available to join the team as a MW / Senior Web Designer (preferably with at least 2 years experience), reporting to the Website Operations Manager.
Job purpose
To interpret marketing briefs to produce creative design solutions for their range of websites and rich media projects (banners, emarketing, e-commerce, promotions etc).
Main Responsibilities
• The creation of great looking concepts to meet requirements of the brief
• To produce the above creative solutions in / HTML / CSS
• To optimise graphics and images for the web
• Producing weekly email marketing concepts and website updates
Requirements:
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Degree or equivalent in Art and Design or Digital Multimedia studies.
• Sound proven experience in building websites/webpages/email marketing.
• Excellent working knowledge of PhotoShop, Dreamweaver /HTML / CSS (All mainstream web design software)
• Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
